How Does the film accelerator Work?
The Film Accelerator is designed for busy lives while providing comprehensive professional training:
Duration: 4 months
Format: 8 bi-weekly evening workshops (6:30pm-9:30pm)
Location: City Wharf, Shiprow, Aberdeen
Cost: FREE to all selected participants
Workshop Topics Include:
- Screenwriting & Story Development
- Production Planning & Management
- Cinematography & Lighting Techniques
- Sound Recording & Design
- Directing Actors & Crew Leadership
- Post-Production Workflow
- Distribution & Festival Strategy
Each cohort collaboratively produces a funded short film, with participants taking on specific crew roles matching their interests and aptitudes.
