Crow House Projects seeks talented actors for our latest production
We’re excited to announce casting for “Once Upon a Time on the Siegfried Line” – an intimate WWII drama about a wounded Scottish soldier and a disillusioned German who form an unlikely bond behind enemy lines in 1945. When both men lose everything to the brutality of war, they discover their shared humanity transcends the conflict dividing them.
This powerful short film continues our mission to showcase Aberdeen’s creative talent and celebrate meaningful storytelling that resonates on the global stage.

ROLES AVAILABLE:
JAKE (20’S M)
A battle-hardened soldier who embarks on a personal journey to rediscover his lost humanity. Strong presence and emotional depth required. Aberdeen(shire) accent preferred.
CLAUS (20’S M)
A kind-hearted German soldier who has become disillusioned with the war. A deserter shaped by circumstance. More a victim than a villain. Native German speaker preferred – fluency beyond conversational essential.
HARRY (LATE TEENS / EARLY 20’S M)
Jake’s best friend. Lacks confidence and is unsure of himself, but deeply loyal. Looks up to Jake for strength and direction. Aberdeen(shire) accent preferred.
CAPTAIN MCLINTOCH (30’S / 40’S M)
A seasoned and no-nonsense officer. Competent, commanding and fiercely loyal to his men.
